| The OMYSA Executive would like to
thank everyone who sent in their survey results. A total of 463
surveys were sent to players in the U10 to U15 age categories.
123 responses were received representing 26.5% of the surveys
sent. We restricted the survey to those age categories most
directly affected by tiering. |

| The results of the survey clearly
show that only 15 % like the current system and 85% want
something different. 61% of those wanting something different
want a Silver + Select C type system. (64/105 - option 2 (41
responses) + option3 (64 responses)) |

| A number of our executive recently
met with representatives from 3 of the other clubs to discuss,
among other topics, our survey results. We challenged the other
clubs to ask their membership how they felt about the current
system and to consider options to the current gold/silver
tiering such as our Select C proposal. We were the only club to
have done a survey. The other representatives agreed to bring
this issue to their executive and meet with us again on July
16th for further discussion.. |
